"Teapots, Treats & Traditions" steps back in time to create elegant and fun, customized Tea Parties for children!  We offer Tea Parties in your own home or other designated location such as a church, school or clubhouse, for a celebration with creativity and tradition your child will cherish and remember always.  We will provide and set up the party decor, supply the entertainment, and even clean up afterwards!

 Please allow "Teapots, Treats & Traditions" to bring original birthday or other special tea party celebrations to young ladies and gentlemen (ages 4-12).  Our parties are entertaining as well as educational (some etiquette and manners tips may be incorporated).  These celebrations spark the imagination, strengthen social skills, and help develop a true appreciation for those graceful and refined days gone by.

 A "Magical Children's Tea Party" includes:

  "The Queen,” “The Fairy Queen,” “The Snow Queen,” “Miss Victoriana,” “Miss Nanny,” or “Miss Donna” as your costumed "Party Director"

2 hours of celebration!

 Party Invitations (delivered) and Party Favors!

 "Dress-Up" with costumes and accessories (fancy dresses, hats, purses, gloves, boas/furs, jewelry, make-up, and other assorted elegant attire; "daddy's hats and ties" and "little-boy blazers" for young gentlemen.)

A Three-Course Tea (including tea table with tea sandwiches of peanut butter and jam, ham, turkey, cheese, cinnamon bread and cream cheese); in-season fruit; carrot/celery sticks ; assorted tea cookies; customized "heart-shaped" cake or "teapot-shaped" cake, or individual “teacup/saucer mini-cakes,” (additional charge - homemade and scrumptious!); "pink tea" (fruit punch); elegantly served with china, silver, linens, etc.

  Whatever theme you desire, we can customize your child's event with the added enhancements of favorite teddy bears, dolls or other special "friends."  Please note that Donna Deekens, the owner of "Teapots, Treats & Traditions," brings her background of theatre and music to her "role" as your Party Director, and enjoyed playing the role of "The Snow Queen" to the Legendary "Miller & Rhoads Santa" for many years!  Also, Donna hosted Victorian Tea Parties for The Heritage Tea Room in Fallston, Maryland from 1994-1996.
