"Teapots, Treats & Traditions" helps you step back in time and enjoy customized Tea Parties.  Take a moment and let us bring a Tea Party to you!  We offer Tea Parties for all occasions in your own home, school, church, assisted living facility, or other "special place" for a celebration with tradition and elegance.  We will provide and set up the party decor and refreshments, supply the entertainment, and even clean up afterwards!

Please allow "Teapots, Treats & Traditions" to help you recreate those delightful moments of socializing with friends in an atmosphere and ambiance of a more genteel era.  If you are from Virginia, perhaps you remember the delicious luncheons, dinners and "tea times" at the wonderful Miller & Rhoads Tea Room and Thalhimers Richmond Room in downtown Richmond.  We present a lovely nostalgic setting, complete with vintage "hats and gloves" if desired, (we can provide hats-for ladies AND gentlemen- boas, and other accessories) to help bring back those heart-warming days.  “Teapots, Treats & Traditions” presents perfect themes especially for bridal and baby showers, birthdays and retirement events…or just “taking tea with friends!”

 A "Classic Tea Party" includes:

 Your Party Director, Donna Deekens, as "Hostess,” with "Sara Sue" designer hat, gloves, etc.; or as “Miss Victoriana,” in Victorian-era costume; or as "The Snow Queen," sharing stories of the "Legendary Santa and Snow Queen" at the former Miller & Rhoads Department Store, in Richmond.

       Party Invitations (if requested; customized, delivered)

2 hours of celebration!

 A three-course Tea buffet (perfect for luncheon, “High Tea” or light supper), with china, silver and "all the trimmings," complete with traditional tea sandwiches; assorted fruits; distinctive variety of other elegant "finger foods;" scones with clotted cream and jam, or petit fours; assorted tea cookies; and hot tea (choice of flavors) and/or fruit punch.  "Heart-shaped" customized cake, or "Teapot-shaped" cake available (both for additional charge- home-made and scrumptious!) “Seated Tea” offered for additional service charge.
 

 Entertainment (if desired) "Hat-Judging Contest" and "Teapot-Judging Contest" for those who have a favorite teapot to display.
