Christmas at Miller & Rhoads: Memoirs of a Snow Queen
I am proud to introduce my new book, Christmas at Miller & Rhoads: Memoirs of a Snow Queen, which is scheduled to be launched November 1, 2009, just in time for Christmas! Published by The History Press, Charleston, SC., this is a collection of heart-warming and humorous stories, plus over 80 wonderful photos and illustrations, focusing on my twenty years as a Snow Queen at the former downtown Miller & Rhoads Department Store. This is where everyone would go to visit "the real Santa!" Hopefully, my "warm and fuzzy" stories of working at the store with our very famous Santa will transport everyone back to the beautiful days of Miller & Rhoads, to once again experience, "the magic."
